I sold the bike yesterday for £1,000. Yay! Since the bike cost me £1600 that is only £600 cost. Heh, yay-o.
I did about 6,000 miles in total on the bike in the 7 months that I had it. This works out to only 10p for every wonderful curve-filled, wind-blown mile. 10p for a fairground ride of fun. Give me more!
(We will have to ignore the cost of the helmet, gloves, leathers, petrol etc or my shady calculations might go awry)
Nic and I are currently debating which bike I should get in NZ. Should it be an Africa-Twin? A trans-alp? Or the one that Nic prefers, the sit-on-a-chair-and-pretend-you-are-on-a-bike-because-it-is-safer-
-and-motorbikes-are-dangerous? I'm voting for the Africa-twin, but we'll see how well I do...
