Angkor Wat

Angkor Wat. This is the big one.

For the last few days we've hired a driver who takes around all of the temples here, and of this Angkor has many; more than two hundred. We've seen reconstructed temples, fallen temples, pyramid temples, cross temples, original temples - enough to give you sore temples.

This place is too hard to describe with my limited vocabulary. It is massive and jaw-droppingly huge. It is otherworldly and serene. It still manages to evoke the same feelings that the French botanist would have had in the 1850s; the feeling of discovery and wonder. Man this place rocks.
