Ulan Ude

Getting into Ulan Ude was like stepping into another country. All this time we've been travelling through Siberia surrounded by white Russians. Ulan Ude changes all that by being predominantly Asian.

This town's claim to fame is having the largest Lenin head in the world. Considering Moscow owns Lenin's real head, I'm not sure this is the best approach to advertise the town. Good head though...
